Alpine holidays in the summer...

Les Gets is a fantastic place to experience the alpine summer holiday with an endless list of activities to get involved in. The village buzzes and the market stalls, cafes, restaurants and shops are all open through the summer season with events across the season for all the family.

Activities for all

Les Gets offers great hiking, world class mountain biking including a wide selection of e-bikes, with graded trails, road cycling, paragliding and golf. There is also a lovely swimming lake 10 mins walk from the chalet where there is a Wibit inflatable challenge on the lake, a volleyball pitch, tennis court and the Adventure Parc.

Stunning landscape

The views around Les Gets and the surrounding area are breathtaking. You can drive up the mountain roads, take the chairlift or walk up! The picture above is looking down on Morzine, taken a few hundred meters north of Chalet Julienne.

Traditional, pretty village

The village is a lovely mix of historic buildings and modern facilities with significant investment each year in lift infrastructure and new restaurants and bars. The chalet is located on the Chavannes side of the mountain. It's about a 4 minute drive from the village, or a 20 minute walk.

GetsLib' - Electric Bikes

Introduced in 2022 there are 35 electric bikes for visitors to use and located across the resort at 7 stations, one of them just 5 mins walk from the chalet. Easy to sign up, and costs as follows:

First half hour FREE
half hour (up to 4 hours of use) : 1€ every 30 minutes
half hour (from the 5th hour of use) : 2,50€ every 30 minutes

Multi Pass Participating Accommodation

We are proud to be a participating member of the Multi Pass Scheme as of 2022. The Multi Pass scheme provides excellent free or discounted access to a massive choice of activities, facilities and lifts across the Portes Du Soleil area for just €2.50 per person per day. Children under 5 go free.

4 Season Luge - The Alpine Coaster

New for Summer 2023 is an all season luge. With 2 seats it's possible for adults to ride alone or to take children with them. The ride is 1100 m long, with a difference in height of 104 m and an average descent gradient of 14.50%. There are twists and turns, slope breaks (a peak at 46%), speed (up to 40 km/h) and thrills guaranteed.
